We Believe
Our Mission:
We believe we are called to Love God and through that love we should be compelled to Love Others and while we are ministering to others help them become Disciples of Christ.
Love God (Up)
Matthew 22:37-38 “He said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important command.”
Love People (In)
Matthew 22:39-40 “The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands.”
Make Disciples (Out)
Matthew 28:19-20 “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
The Bible
We believe the Bible to be inspired and the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God and the sole basis for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:21).
The Trinity
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30).
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Christ (John 1:1; John 10:30), the humanity of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 2:17), His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:35), His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 7:26), His miracles (John 2:11), His vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9), His resurrection (John 20:1-31; 1 Corinthians 15:4), His Ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19), and His personal return in power and glory (Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11).
Salvation
We believe (1) in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature, (2) that people are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and (3) that only by God’s grace and through faith in Jesus Christ alone are we saved (John 3:16-19; John 5:24; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5).

The Elmore Baptist Association
44 churches that fellowship together and work together to reach Elmore County. This church gives 1% of its undesignated funds to the association.
The Alabama Baptist State Convention
Over 3,240 churches that fellowship together with the goal of evangelizing our state.
The Southern Baptist Convention
42,000 churches with over 16 million members that cooperate together in missions. Through the SBC "Cooperative Program", Annie Armstrong and Lottie Moon Offerings, we help support over 5,000 home missionaries serving the United States, Canada, Guam and the Caribbean and over 5,000 missionaries in 153 countries around the world. Crossroads gives 10% of its undesignated funds to the SBC. Every Southern Baptist church is completely independent - "church autonomy." There is no denominational control or hierarchy, as there is in most other denominations.
