What is the Turkey Hunt?

The Turkey Hunt is a wild and crazy scavenger hunt for puzzle pieces that make a giant Bible Verse in the form of a turkey. Now this is oversimplified because there are 3 turkey puzzles and 114 color-coded puzzle pieces for each turkey. To make things more fun, each piece is hidden in a brown paper sack in the middle of the Fellowship Hall floor. That’s a lot of bags to sort through! It is loads of fun.

Kids will take turns running out into the middle of the floor and find a piece of their puzzle. They will run back to their teacher, who will put the piece in the proper place. The first team to complete their puzzle, say the Bible Verse, and sit on the floor is the winner.

Toddler–6th Grade are invited! Kindergarten through grade 6 hunt together. Younger Preschoolers have their own smaller, slower version.

Turkey dinner is served with all the leftover Halloween candy a person could desire!! Make your plans to attend this year.
